Bletchley Leisure Centre Offers Wishes in Exchange for
Charity Donations

This festive season Bletchley Leisure Centre is exchanging wishes for donations for the charity Clic Sergeant as it takes part in the annual Best Christmas Display competition.

Dobbies Wishing Tree will be on display in the foyer of Bletchley Leisure Centre where people are invited to write a wish to put on the tree in exchange for donations.

The tree, which has been kindly supplied by Dobbies Garden World in Fenny Stratford, is centerpiece of the Centre’s window display which has been entered into the Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town Council ‘Best Christmas Display’ competition which will be judeged on 24 November. There is a prize for both the best dressed window display and the best decorated market stall.  Each will receive a free half page advert in the next edition of ‘The Neighbour’.

Earlier in the day the Mayor of Milton Keynes will open the new lift in the multi-storey car park at Bletchley Leisure Centre.

The Christmas lights will be switched on in Bletchley by Stavros Flatley at Stanier Square at 5.15pm on November 24 and Bletchley Leisure Centre will be providing a Zumba session to warm up the waiting crowds.

Sarah Clark, Centre Manager, said: “We hope people will support us in raising money for this great cause as part of a great community initiative.”
