This community pavilion is available for the local community to enjoy many cultural and sporting activities and is managed by Hertsmere Leisure as a joint venture with Milton Keynes Council (MKC) and English Partnerships (EP). Olympic Legacy for Mebourne playing fields

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A massive thank you to all the children of Giles Brook Primary School and toddlers from Duckling's pre-school who helped us celebrate the Olympic Legacy award on Wednesday 21 March at Tattenhoe Sports Pavilion. The grant assures the future of the playing fields at Tattenhoe Pavilion, Medbourne Community Sports Pavilion and Furzton for decades to come.

The fields were awarded National Lottery funding from Sport England as part of the Protecting Playing Fields and Places People Play legacy programme.

After a short ceremony on the pitch Hannah Bladen of Sport England gave a cheque to MK Council for £27,600. This was  matched moments later with a second cheque for the same amount from Hertsmere Leisure by contract manager, Paul Christie.
