The Sir James Altham Pool is a small, friendly community pool with specialised facilities for people with disabilities. The Pool offers a wide range of activities including early morning swimming for those who need help waking up, lessons for children and adults, ladies only swimming, aqua exercise classes, family swim sessions, fun for children with giant inflatables and disco sessions, birthday parties and sessions for disabled customers.

Free and Discounted Swimming in Three Rivers:Update for the over 60's from October 24th, 2011: The existing 60+ half price session shown on our pool programme is now FREE - plus an additional 60+ FREE session has been added to our pool programme. Therefore the following sessions are now FREE for 60+ Three Rivers Residents: Tuesdays from 09.00 - 10.00 Thursdays from 12.00 - 13.00

Pool Programme
Our pool programme reflects customer demand so that we have:
Increased the number of public sessions and adult lane swimming
Introduced later opening on Wednesdays
Extended party times at weekends
Allocated more times for local schools
Swim Academy sessions have all been indentified as the same colour on the pool programme. Please ask at reception for full details and times of our lessons.
Please be advised that during the Adult Only Lane Swimming session on Thursday evenings between 8pm and 9pm, half the pool will be separated and utilized for staff training on the following dates:
