May 2010 - Our new pools are heated by solar panels located on the roof. The solar panels won't do all the heating for the pools (we are in England!) but will take the edge off meaning it will take less energy and CO2 to heat the water than conventional pools. We actively recycle all our plastic, paper and cardboard used in the delivery of goods to William Penn or in our day to day business. Customers can do the same via the recycling facilities located in the main car park. We are also currently looking at LED lighting options when replacing old fittings.
Apri 2011 - we have removed our plastic water cups and replaced all of our water fountains with fountains you can drink directly from or fill a large water bottle from.
