Hiring the TheatreThe Wyllyotts Theatre seats 421 people in retractable raked seating. The theatre can be hired for dance or drama shows, cinema screenings, exhibitions, dinner dances, school speech days and numerous other events.
There is a car park adjacent to the centre. |

Special Effects:
For the use of pyrotechnics, smoke, dry ice, firearms or a strobe or any other special effects, the theatre requires at least 28 days notice for permission to be granted.

Flying System:
10 Hemp lines operated from stage right (o.p.)
3 LX hand winches (internally wired lighting bars)
One operated from stage right (o.p.) and two from stage left (p.s.)
F.O.H. lighting bar has a motorised winch and has a safe working load of 400kg.

House Tabs:
Are motorised and have a variable running speed with a maximum of 9 seconds. They can be operated from prompt corner, sound control area or lighting control box. The variable speed can only be operated from prompt corner.
Dressing Rooms:
Three rooms: No.1 Up to five people, with shower, handbasin and 4 lit mirrors.
No.2 Up to five people, with shower, handbasin and 4 lit mirrors.
No.3 Up to eight people, 3 handbasins and 7 lit mirrors.
All dressing rooms have 6' costume rails
Additional dressing room accommodation is available by prior arrangement with the centre management.

Staffing
The Wyllyotts Centre provide 2 technical staff on site at all times whilst you are occupying the building. They are both there to advise on the best or easiest way to achieve the result you require. They can train any of your technical staff, stage crew or stage management in the correct operation of the theatre systems and will be on hand throughout your time with us in case of any problems. They cannot, however, actually design your lighting, sound or staging as they have other work to complete for the centre. Neither can they actually operate any equipment for you during a performance as they have other duties to perform at that time.
The Wyllyotts Centre can provide rigging / operating crew for you, if you require, but this will be at additional cost to your company. Details of current crew costs can be obtained from the Technical Manager. We endeavour to keep these as low as possible for you, but this requires detailed information and good organisation on your part.
